Re: iOS Update

I installed iOS7 on my iPhone 4 mainly to be able to use Scrivener when it's available. My iPhone is faster with iOS7 than with iOS6! Faster and more reliable too so I'm really satisfied. I just hope Scrivener for iOS will run on an iPhone 4...

French version of Scrivener instead of English one!

I've updated Scrivener but now I have the French version instead of the English one. I'd rather have the English one as I have plenty of books, all in English and it's difficult at times to translate... What can I do to have the English version? It's the 1.5 version of Scrivener for Windows. Thanks ...

Re: Temp files

Hi, Yesterday I read this post and discovered that I had the same problem. BUT... but it was not that big because I do an automatic cleanup every weekend. I was surprised at first because there were more temp files to erase but the computer dit its work without any problem. So, what do I do? Right c...

Re: What about the iPhone?

I must say this: I use the iPhone for writing a LOT and with the internal (virtual) keyboard only. The iPhone is easy to keep in hand and typing with the thumbs can be done really fast. In fact, there are times when I'm fed up with writing (or rewriting, editing and correcting). I swear I'll stop wr...

Re: What about the iPhone?

There really are strange folk out there who write more than brief notes on their iPhones and iPod Touches. I own the latter, and I can touchscreen-type quite fast and accurately. I've just started using a Bluetooth Apple keyboard for really extended periods of writing with my Touch, but it's much m...

Re: What about the iPhone?

I have an iPad but no iPhone. I can't imagine anyone reasonably expecting to do much book/project work on an iPhone over and above a little reading and note taking. I'd be worried that a universal app might end up being neither one thing nor the other. But not being an iPhone user I don't have the ...

Maybe move it to the Tips forum? Or add it to the manual or something like that.

I agree. I copied the tip and pasted it in my Scrivener WIP but it should be in the manual as an example, it's so good.

Great! Really, really great! Now, at last, I understand what Keywords is and how I can use it.

Re: Editing my NaNoriMo novel with Scrivener

First of all, I must say that I'm French so bear with me if I make mistakes. My novel is a mix Suspense/Paranormal. Nicole, a retired secretary and unpublished writer, buys an old house. She discovers that a murder had been commited 55 years ago. She discovers that the murderer is in fact a serial r...

Editing my NaNoriMo novel with Scrivener

I'm a NaNo winner with 65K+, thanks to Scrivener (for Windows). Now, I'm a proud and satisfied owner of this great program. And it's time to edit. Which means cut, cut and cut. Scrivener is great for this too because I can put the unwanted scenes in a folder outside the Draft folder. So, if one day ...
